The FoCW offers a travel subsidy to those who could potentially have difficulties in accessing the Walbran Valley/Kaxi:ks.

This subsidy comes from public donations that helped FoCW briefly purchase a short bus in 2017. The goal was to provide access to the forest for all regardless of socio-economic barriers . But due to logistics issues and a lack of skilled volunteers we sadly had to sell the bus after just 6 months. The money that was recouped from the sale has been put into a fund to enable people from diverse backgrounds to have the opportunity to come and see these magnificent forests.

Vehicles and buses for various events in the Walbran have  been rented and the cost subsidized by this fund.
